Description: Hancock County Planning Commission and Friends of Acadia held a meeting at COA to discuss the various environmental and recreational opportunities on Rt.3 . Various societies made presentations and a sandwich supper was served. A management plan is being prepared for the corridor and will be submitted to the state DOT in Nov. If the road is designated an”All American Road” Bar Harbor, Trenton and Mount Desert will be able to compete for additional funds for local improvement projects. [show more]
