Savage Bar Harbor, ME, 1902 Pencil on tracing paper The Gerrish Collection, MDI Historical Society Savage's first home in Bar Harbor was Vista Cottage located on Atlantic Avenue. The design incorporated his favored gambrel roof. An awkward south elevation composition includes a projecting bay window and a curious intersection of two roof lines.
