Description: Long wooden pole with eight iron tines which have turned under tips. Tine held taut with twine. Resembles long rake. Used for catching eels in mud. Donor info - found in Pretty Marsh home of donor.
Description: Two rods joined together by leather strap and rope. One rod was held while the other was swung in an arc and brought down on beans, peas etc. Donor info - used by donor’s father, Charles W. Kittredge, to beat out buckwheat and beans. Catalog record card indicates that this may have been donated in 1959.
Description: Temple toggle iron. Handle wrapped with line and tar. Wooden toggle pin missing. Pin fits through spearhead. When lodged in whale the pin snapped, opening the blade so that it remained inside the skin.
Description: Leather stitched in white, wavy pattern tooled in leather. Leather very stiff. Shaped like a purse. Missing closure. Belt loops in back. Wooden cartridge box inside holds 18 cartridges.
