Portrait of middle-aged woman, seated, body in profile but head and face turned towards camera. Wears a dark dress/suit, with buttons down skirt, sort of sailor tailoring. Holds playbill in hands. Sitting in front of painted backdrop (vague image, not sure what it is) next to table. Dark, curly hair pulled back. Nameplate enclosed within case reads “Mrs. Mary A. Ober.” Per T. Vining cemeteries book, p. 259, b. 1879 d. 1944.
