Description: Small camphene lamp of clear glass, Metal top. Chain on cap missing. Wick intact. Top tarnished. Camphene is turpentine. Often mixed with alcohol to burn.
Description: Wooden one pint pitcher. Somewhat rough and was probably hand carved. Top is very much like a measure with spout for pouring. Pencil mark on the side. Donor info- found in attic of former A.J. Whiting (A.V. Higgins) store built in the 1850s.

Description: Carved dark wood. Seat and back resemble scallop shells. Arms resemble sea serpents. Four legs resemble rough tree branches. Note on ribbon across seat indicated that chair may have been used in Daniel Somes's house. Ellsworth furniture restorer David Williams saw this chair; his research indicated that it may be a ninetheenth Venetian grotto chair, which was intended for hallways and aimed to be sold to visitors on their European tours. Description: Wooden bowl with painted scene of rocky coast, clouds, sky, sea and sloop. Wood contracted with age so that bowl in now oval. Some stains. One chip on surface of painting. Bottom rough. Donor info - from Fred Wiggin house in Town Hill.
Description: Wooden cradle on rockers which are not fixed to the cradle. Once painted blue. Constructed with both dove tailed joints and nails. Head board has a narrow side piece creating a semi “hood”.
