Certificate is handwritten and bears the seal of the Diocese of California. Manning owned The Mount Desert House in Somesville, where he and his family summered. Manning later became Bishop of the Diocese of New York. There are four holes in the base for mounting on a work surface. There is a grooved rubber disc on the base which has the same logo as the supporting arm with the addition of "USA".
