Description: These items were found in the scrapbook of journal entries and WWII newspaper clippings that Virginia Somes Sanderson put together. They are located with that scrapbook. Among the people mentioned are her cousin, Marion Cobb, Diana Ansley, an address for a Somes-Schloesser, Laurie Ann, Weinbergs, Margaret and Keith Tyler, Scott M. Somes.
Description: Page two of a letter to an unknown person from Fred Savage claiming that Bar Harbor is Sick! He goes on to state what a doctor does when he comes to your house. There is no first or third page to this letter and it ends mid sentence.
Description: Hand made canvas banner 23" wide by approximately 75" long lists 14 dances including Waltz, Contra, Quadrille, Barn Dance, Two Step, Extra, followed at end by "Good Morning." This came from the Masonic Hall in Somesville and was used for the "Way Back Ball."

Description: Blue and yellow hand-made banner; taffetta-like fabric, "SCHOOLHOUSE MUSEUM" and schoolhouse building appliqued. Parts of some letters missing or torn. Has grommets, tape, and cord for hanging. Need to double check that Marion Stanley made this. (Not done yet 4/17/18 MF)
