Description: A.C. Fernald age 30-40. Born 1860, died 1952. Short hair cut close to sides parted on one side and brushed down. Has a mustache. Seated in velvet upholstered chair. Wearing dark coat and pants. Coat buttoned only at top. Vest underneath. White collar and cuffs. Dark tie with white pattern and oval pin in knot. Marked Lamson Portland, ME.
Description: A.J. Whiting age 20-30. Wears hair brushed back over head, trim mustache and medium length beard tucked into collar. Heavy suit possibly wool. Seated with legs crossed and hands clasped. Wide cuffs on coat with pocket and flap on rigth side. Vest buttoned to top, small black tie and whtie collar appear underneath vest.
