Description: Small (doll's sized) trunk adorned with animal fur and leather on the outside, lined with printed paper on the inside. A slip of paper on the inside reads: "This trunk was given to Emily Manchester by her father Major John Manchester, in 1850, (Now in the Gilley family)" Emily was born in 1834 and would have been 16 when she got the trunk.
