All boys wear hair parted on one side and combed to the other. All boys wear black stockings and boots. Marked, “Allen Boys” on back.

Description: Photo of portrait of Captain Edward C. Harper (1859-1934). Harper was married on 25 December 1882 in Tremont to Fannie E. Billings (1862-1948). As of December 2016, Clifford Harper owns the portrait. Capt. Harper was captain of the Bloomer built in Somesville.
