Title:
Pumping Sardines into Tri-net
Description:
Paul Stubing indicated that this is a picture of a "tri-net". Sardines were pumped into it to see if there was any red feed present with the sardines before pumping them onto the carrier. The pump went from the weir or "tri-net" to the carrier.
This picture offers a clear view of the "tri-net" in relation to the hydraulic system for getting the sardines onboard.
Ralph Stanley said this picture was taken at the sardine factory in Southwest.
