Carte de visite of a man with dark hair, wearing some sort of military uniform: long dark coat with brass buttons, striped vest underneath.
He rests his right hand on his thigh, left hand on table with printed tablecloth sitting next to him.
Hat (civil-war-era) sits next to him. Inscription on back reads “James Ca...k...” or perhaps "Parker"
Also the number “4” is written 7 times in purple ink on back.
