These studies of this large cottage exhibit his facility with the Shingle Style. This late commission for Savage (1922), exhibits all the typical Shingle Style elements manipulated to produce a very pleasing composition. The west facade is particularly pleasing with its rounded masonry terrace overlooking Seal Harbor.
