Description: This photo is of five A-class boats. Number 32 is closest to the photographer. One of these boats was built for the Morris family. Don Q is the name on the stern. Pete Welles indicated that #32 is a Rice boat built in Maine. Numbers 26 and higher were Rice boats.

Description: This 11 by 14 black and white photo is a copy of a Ballard original which is in the Historical Society's archives. This copy was used in an exhibit which was around 2002 at Charles Butt's house.

Wearing dark coat and pants. Coat buttoned only at top. Vest underneath. White collar and cuffs. Dark tie with white pattern and oval pin in knot. Marked Lamson Portland, ME.
